Some plants fire projectiles, while others have special abilities such as freezing and slowing zombies. Players can collect sunlight from the sky or from planted sunflowers, which acts as an in-game currency to help players plant more new defensive plants. As the game progresses, players will also unlock new plants that will help defend against the increasingly challenging waves of zombies. The ultimate goal of the game is to protect your house from being overrun by zombies.
